Deploying Your Application

Deploying NetDynamics applications is easy. You dont need any client component software or plug-in. You dont even need a Java-enabled browser. Any HTML 2.0 compliant browser (e.g. Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer) is all you need to run your application.

The NetDynamics application server handles requests from users. It caches the application in memory so that users have immediate access to the application. It also manages each users session and state information automatically. All relevant information about a user is stored in the Persistence Engine on the NetDynamics application server. The application server also handles security, ensuring that users do not access pages without the correct privilege levels.

NetDynamics' built-in session management system lets you track thousands of users concurrently and individually. Through the NetDynamics application programming interface (API), you control the information they need to maintain about each individual user.
